Same job — answer the phone, book the work. Different models, and honestly different strengths. Here it is row by row, with dates and links.
Our proof isn’t a table — it answers live and books a real appointment on this page.
Be yourself — or say you're Ray, a regular, and hear Center recognize you and offer their usual.
On Rosie’s published plans, calendar appointment booking appears under "Scale" at $149/mo — the $49 "Professional" plan is answering and message taking. Center books real appointments, with deposits, on the $24 plan. Different model: booking isn’t an upsell here — it’s the product. [1]
Checked Jul 11, 2026Every Rosie plan includes a minute bucket — 250, 1,000, or 2,000 per month. Center has no bucket to run out of: unlimited 24/7 answering on every plan, from $24/mo, never metered. Calls, questions, and reschedules don’t move the price — what you pay in month one is what you pay in month twelve. [1]
Checked Jul 11, 2026We didn’t find payment or deposit collection on Rosie’s published pricing page or homepage. Center texts a deposit link during the call and holds the slot — the difference between a message and a kept booking. [2]
Checked Jul 11, 2026Rosie’s terms are fair for the category: cancel anytime from the dashboard, and you can port your number back within three months. Two lines worth knowing: payments are non-refundable, and after you cancel there’s a 30-day window to export your data while Rosie keeps a perpetual license to it (including for training). Center: your number just unforwards, and export is one click, any day. [3]

As of the date on this page: call transfers ship today — warm, live, and waterfall on their higher plans — while ours are still rolling out. Every Rosie call handles English and Spanish; we’re English-first today. And their exit terms are fair: monthly auto-renew with dashboard cancellation and a real number-porting window is how it should work. If mid-call transfers to your own phone or Spanish-language answering is your #1 requirement right now, Rosie is the safer pick today.

Different business models. Rosie sells software by the minute, so richer features live on bigger plans. Center’s front desk is the product — every plan books with deposits, because a booked job, not a message, is the whole point.
Live and warm call transfers are rolling out on the Front Office plan but aren’t everywhere yet, and we’re English-first while Rosie advertises Spanish on every call. Our own domain + website feature on Front Desk is also still rolling out. We print "rolling out" instead of promising.
Yes — and you should. Rosie publishes a 7-day free trial; Center gives you 30 days free on every plan — twice the runway. Forward your line to each for a week and read the call summaries side by side.
