The differences that matter

$24 a month to start vs $79.

Goodcall’s published entry price is $79 per agent per month ($66 on annual). Center starts at $24/mo — unlimited 24/7 answering, never metered — and the first 30 days are free on any plan. [1]

One honest meter — theirs. We don’t have one.

Credit where due: Goodcall meters unique customers per month (100–500 included, then 50¢ each) and prints "We DO NOT charge any fees for number of calls call minutes, or tokens consumed" — a long call never costs extra. Center doesn’t meter callers, calls, or minutes at all: every plan is unlimited 24/7 answering at a flat monthly price. Their meter charges for callers who never book; we don’t charge for callers at all. [1]

Deposits, collected on the call.

We didn’t find payment or deposit collection on Goodcall’s published site. Center texts a deposit link during the call and holds the slot — bookings that stick, not just booked. [2]

Read the leaving terms before you sign anything — including ours.

Goodcall’s terms: auto-renewing subscription you can cancel from the dashboard, payments final with a current-month refund on request. What we couldn’t find: what happens to your phone number when you leave, or a spelled-out data-export right — ask them before you commit. Center: your number just unforwards, your client list exports in one click, any day. [3]

Where Goodcall is genuinely ahead

As of the date on this page: they’ve been at this since 2017 — "born out of Google" — and it shows in team scale: 50 team members, 25 logic flows, and a real directory ship today, while Center’s team transfers are still rolling out. Their integrations reach further (Zapier, Sheets, CRMs vs our calendar sync), and their per-customer meter genuinely never charges for minutes, which is kind to businesses with long, chatty calls. If you’re a multi-location team that needs routing logic today, Goodcall is the more proven pick right now.

Straight answers

Is this page fair?

Every claim about Goodcall above carries a link to their own published page and the date we checked it. Where Goodcall wins, the row says so with no spin — see the team, track-record, and integrations rows. If we got something wrong or it’s gone stale, email us and we’ll fix it within a week.

Their meter never charges for minutes. Isn’t that better than yours?

For long calls, honestly, yes — and the table says so. The difference is what gets counted: Goodcall counts every unique caller (booked or not, 50¢ past your bucket); Center doesn’t count callers at all — every plan is unlimited answering at a flat monthly price. A month of tire-kicker calls costs nothing extra here; the price never moves.

What does Center honestly not have yet?

Team-scale features: their 50-member teams and logic flows ship today while our live transfers are still rolling out, and their integration list is longer than our calendar sync. We’re also new — no 2017 pedigree, which is why the live demo on this page, not a customer count, is our proof.

Can I just try both?

Yes — Goodcall advertises a free trial on their pricing page, and Center gives you 30 days free on every plan. Forward your line to each for a week and compare the call summaries.
