Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of trycenter.com and the Center AI front desk (together, the “Service”), operated by Center (“Center,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, using the website, or interacting with a Center-powered front desk, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

1. What the Service is

Center is an AI front desk for service businesses. It answers calls with an AI assistant that identifies itself as an AI at the start of every call, exchanges text messages, books appointments into the business’s availability, sends transactional texts (including booking messages, a one-time response after a genuinely missed call, and review invitations after completed work), and keeps a record of clients and conversations for the business.

2. Not an emergency service

The assistant runs an appointment line, not a dispatch or emergency line. It does not promise arrival times or same-day dispatch. If a caller describes an emergency, the assistant is instructed to urge appropriate safety steps (including calling 911 where the situation sounds dangerous) and to flag the call for the business owner — but the Service must not be relied on for emergency response.

3. Operator accounts and responsibilities

If you run a business on Center (an “operator”), you agree to:

4. The AI assistant and its limits

The assistant is designed with guardrails: it discloses that it is an AI, it is instructed not to state prices, services, or availability beyond what the operator provided, it never takes card numbers over the phone, and it does not confirm a booking as final until the booking system accepts it (until then a time is “held”). Even so, AI systems can make mistakes. Operators should review call summaries and bookings, and callers should treat the business’s own confirmation as authoritative. We also run automated quality review that scores calls against a quality and safety rubric so failures are caught and corrected.

5. Text messaging program (SMS terms)

When you provide your phone number to a business using Center — for example by calling its Center-powered line or booking an appointment — you may receive service texts tied to that interaction, such as one immediate response to a missed call, confirmations, reminders, deposit links, or a review invitation after completed work. Promotional texts are sent only with your prior express written consent. Consent to receive promotional texts is not a condition of any purchase.

6. Deposits, payments, and fees

7. Your data and leaving

Owners can use the in-product download control to export their business profile and settings, services and staff, clients and notes, bookings, calls and transcripts (including recording links, not copied media files), communications, reviews and review invitations, and available billing and usage metadata. Owners can cancel whenever they want. There are no cancellation fees.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to break the law, to send spam or unconsented marketing, to impersonate others, to attempt to breach or probe the Service’s security, or to interfere with other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for callers, carriers, or the platform.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the assistant will handle every call perfectly.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Center will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Indemnification

Operators agree to indemnify Center against claims arising from their business’s services, their content, their client lists, or their unlawful use of messaging or recording features.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operating company is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
